Mark Burkemper is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Koda Ridge Capital, an operator-aligned seniors housing investment manager focused on acquiring and developing high-quality private-pay communities in partnership with The Springs Living.

Mark brings more than two decades of institutional real estate investment experience and has been involved in more than $10 billion of real estate transactions across acquisitions, developments, recapitalizations, and joint ventures. Prior to founding Koda Ridge Capital, he spent 17 years at Harrison Street, a leading global investment manager focused on alternative real assets. During his tenure, Mark served on the firm’s Executive Committee and as Head of North American Transactions, leading investment strategy and execution across healthcare, seniors housing, student housing, and other alternative real estate sectors.

At Koda Ridge Capital, Mark is responsible for firm strategy, investment oversight, capital formation, and the disciplined deployment of capital alongside experienced operating and development partners.
